Clairnetta "Kit" Rozelle, 87, of Sturgis, MI, died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at South Bend Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Rozelle moved to Sturgis, MI in 1978 from Fort Wayne, IN. She was a registered nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis, MI, Alter Society of the church, Sturgis Hospital Auxiliary, Klinger Lake Country Club, and the Doyle Community Center of Sturgis.
Mrs. Rozelle was born on June 8, 1922 in Napoleon, OH to Clayton F. and Clara (Reiser) Kelley; they both precede her in death. On December 15, 1945 in Napoleon, OH she married Carlos C. Rozelle; he preceded her in death on March 11, 1992.
Surviving are a daughter, Suzanne Rozelle of Sturgis; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gregory J. and Vicky Rozelle of Dayton, OH, James K. and Linda Rozelle of Fort Wayne, IN, and Michael R. Rozelle of Goshen, IN; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clayton N. Kelley of Detroit, MI.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis, MI with Revs. Calvin Kolzow and Michael Klafehn officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until service time on Thursday at the church.
