Evelyn May Champion, 76, of Howe, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Miller's Merry Manor, LaGrange.
She was a homemaker and baby sitter. She came to LaGrange County in 1944 from Hicksville, Ohio. She attended the New Freedom Baptist Church in LaGrange.
She was born June 2, 1933 in Hicksville, Ohio to Jesse and Iva (Doda) Champion.
Her only survivors are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a infant sister, Lois Marie Champion, a brother, Donald Champion and two half-brothers, Walter and Delbert Manges.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Rev. Wade Sturdivant officiating.
Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery in Harlan, IN.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to LaGrange County Clothes and Food Basket.
